The Overland Park South Rotary Club puts on a free jazz concert every year in Corporate Woods to raise money for local charities including Fox 4 Love Fund, Operation Breakthrough, Lee Ann Britain Infant Development Center and Future of Hope – Overland Park South Rotary Club Foundation. Last year they raised more than $60,000 in donations and sponsorships, and more than 20,000 people attended. This year, they need our help.
The event is called Jazz in the Woods and it runs from Friday, June 14 to Saturday, June 15.
Volunteers shifts are available Friday, June 14 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.
and Saturday, June 15 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Jazz in the Woods is located at 9401 Indian Creek Parkway, Overland Park, KS 66210. Click here for a map and directions. Volunteers will meet at the volunteer tent. To get there, follow these directions from Volunteer Coordinator Dan Scherrer, “As you enter the park at the south end, furthest from the stage, you will be walking into vendor row (vendors on both sides of the street). Directly to the left – west – (behind vendor row), there will be a Kid’s Zone, and right across the sidewalk, due north, is the Volunteers Tent. Find the Kids Zone and we are right there.”
See you there.
