Saturday, August 10 at 10:30 a.m. Rotaract KC will be cooking lunch for families (about 20-25 people) who need our help at the Ronald McDonald House of Kansas City. We will serve them at noon. The families staying there are receiving medical treatment for a sick or injured child at Children’s Mercy Hospital.  We need between 7 to 10 volunteers for this, but it’s alright if more show up.

This will take place at the Longfellow House, at 2502 Cherry St., Kansas City, MO 64108.  We have decided we are going to use pre-made pizza from Costco or HyVee, along with salad and possibly a beverage. I need 1 other volunteer to help me get the items & bring back to the Longfellow home. Please contact me if interested. We don’t need to provide tableware, and drinks are encouraged, but not required.

Click here to sign up to volunteer, or you can contact Patrick at 816-277-8707 or Brett  at 816-885-5877 if you want to do this. Thanks!

The families who are staying  there are going through a stressful time and need our help, so we can feel free to make them feel welcome, but respect their needs!
