“State of the Club” Address from Branden Ehlers

There is a story of Kansas City and it seems that everyone has his or her own story to share. Rotaract of KC will be entering its third year, and at our meetings for the next twelve months we plan to share stories of Kansas City from professional sports clubs, local politicians, business leaders, educators, and local movements. The goal of this year is to not only inform Rotaractors but also engage Club members in this great city.ehlers_pic

Like I stated, Rotaract will be entering its third year, and we have already began to positively engage our City. The 2nd annual Project Homeless Connect KC event will be held on August 28th. Come volunteer with us at this event. We are also beginning our 6-12 month service project at the Rotary Youth Camp. The Camp gives children with a physical limitation the opportunity to be outdoors in a safe and productive environment. Our first event will be July 11 at 10:30 am. I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Whether you are a life-long Kansas Citian, are returning to your hometown, or you have moved here, come and be a part of our stories to bring OUR CITY to life.

This is our town; our Kansas City!
